NEW FRAGRANCE PRODUCT LAUNCH
This project explores the development of a new solid perfume concept for Aesop, designed to align with the brand’s minimalist aesthetic, commitment to sustainability, and philosophy of sensory experience. The goal was to create a fragrance offering that is travel-friendly, refillable, and rooted in the brand’s botanical heritage, while also filling a white space in Aesop’s current fragrance assortment. The process began with in-depth brand research and olfactory inspiration, followed by formulation trials and the design of a tactile, environmentally conscious product.
The final concept, presented in this process book, includes a detailed scent development journey, moodboarding, packaging ideation, and a full 360° marketing strategy. From pre-launch sampling initiatives to global in-store activations, this project reflects a holistic approach to product innovation in the luxury fragrance space. It serves as both a creative expression and a strategic case study, grounded in real-world market insights and consumer behavior.
